Getting started

How do I book my first dog walk?

Send us an enquiry through the contact form with a few details about your dog and the help you're looking for. We'll get back to you to arrange a free meet-and-greet. Nothing is booked until we've met your dog and you've agreed the details with us.

Do you offer a free meet-and-greet?

Yes. Before any regular care starts, we meet you and your dog at home so we can learn about their personality, routine, health and any handling needs, and you can ask us anything.

Do you offer regular weekly bookings?

Yes. Many owners prefer a regular weekly routine, and dogs often settle best with consistency. One-off bookings are welcome too, subject to availability.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Greenwich and are starting with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and nearby parts of South East London. Pop your postcode in the enquiry form and we'll confirm whether we can reach you.

Walks

Do you walk dogs individually or in groups?

Both. Solo walks suit nervous, reactive, elderly or very young dogs, and any dog who simply prefers their own space. Small-group walks are only offered to dogs who are comfortable with company and well matched in size, energy and temperament. We'll recommend what suits your dog at the meet-and-greet.

How long are your walks?

Standard walks are 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Adventure walks can be longer for suitable dogs, and senior walks are paced entirely around your dog.

Will I receive updates after my dog's walk?

Yes, a short update is included after walks so you know how your dog got on. If you'd like more detail, you can add a detailed photo and written progress report for £5.

What happens in bad weather?

Light rain doesn't stop play. In heat, storms or icy conditions, your dog's safety comes first: we may shorten the walk, change the route, choose a cooler time of day or swap to indoor enrichment, and we'll always let you know.

Care

Can you care for puppies?

Yes. Puppy Enrichment Visits and Puppy Home Visits offer toilet breaks, company and age-appropriate play. We'll follow your vet's advice on when your puppy can safely go out and about.

Can you care for nervous or senior dogs?

Absolutely. Quiet Paws Solo Walks and Senior Dog Walks are designed for dogs who need a calmer, slower or more predictable experience. Tell us about your dog's needs and we'll plan around them.

Do you provide dog sitting?

Yes. We offer daytime sitting, overnight sitting in your home, puppy visits, feeding visits and weekend or holiday care, subject to availability. We don't offer boarding at our premises or a daycare centre.

How are dogs kept safe?

Every new dog starts with a meet-and-greet so we understand their needs. Dogs stay on lead unless you've given written permission and it's safe and appropriate, group walks are kept small and carefully matched, and we keep your emergency contact and vet details to hand.

Training & wellness

When will your dog training services launch?

Our Urban City Dog Training, including City Skills and Public Transport Confidence, is available now. So are our premium packages, including The Complete Londoner. Basic obedience, puppy socialisation and group classes launch in 2027. Join the waiting list to hear first when places open.

Do you offer canine massage?

Our founder holds a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Massage. Massage appointments aren't open just yet, but you can register your interest now. Massage supports relaxation and wellbeing and is never a replacement for veterinary care; where a dog has a medical condition, we'll ask for veterinary guidance first.

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

Walks and home visits can be cancelled free with 24 hours' notice. Overnight, weekend and holiday sitting can be cancelled free with 7 days' notice. Shorter notice may be charged, and you'll never pay for a visit we have to cancel. Full details are on our Cancellation Policy page.
